Prayers for Our Relatives and Friends

Father, by the power of Your Spirit You have filled the hearts of Your faithful people with gifts of love for one another. Hear the prayers we offer for our relatives and friends. Give them health of mind and body that they may do Your will with perfect love. Amen.

Father, I ask You to bless my friends, relatives and email buddies reading this right now. Show them a new revelation of Your love and power. Holy Spirit, I ask You to minister to their spirit at this very moment. Where there is pain , give them Your peace and mercy. Where there is self-doubt, release a renewed confidence through Your grace. Bless their homes, families, finances, their goings and their comings. In Jesus' precious name. Amen.

I Said a Prayer for You Today
I said a prayer
for you today and know God must have heard.
I felt the answer in my heart although He spoke no word!
I didn't ask for wealth or fame (I knew you wouldn't mind)
I asked Him to send treasures of a far more lasting kind!
I asked that He'd be near you at the start of each new day
To grant you health and blessings and friends to share your way!
I asked for happiness for you in all things great and small,
But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all!

In Gratitude for Family and Friends
Blessed are You, loving Father, for all Your gifts to us. Blessed are You for giving us family and friends to be with us in times of joy and sorrow, to help us in days of need, and to rejoice with us in moments of celebration... Father, we praise You for Your Son Jesus, Who knew the happiness of family and friends, and in the love of Your Holy Spirit. Blessed are You for ever and ever. Amen.

Everyone Needs Someone
People need
people and friends need friends
And we all need love for a full life depends
Not on vast riches or great acclaim,
Not on success or on worldy fame,
But just in knowing that someone cares
And holds us close in their thoughts and prayers-
For only the knowledge that we're understood
Makes everyday living feel wonderfully good,
And we rob ourselves of life's greatest need
When we "lock up our hearts" and fail to heed
The outstretched hand reaching to find
A kindred spirit whose heart and mind
Are lonely and longing to somehow share
Our joys and sorrows and to make us aware
That life's completeness and richness depends
On the things we share with our loved ones and friends.
